Christie Shepherd, MSN, FNP-C

Christie Shepherd is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner bringing more than two decades of medical experience to her role at Age Management Center. Her clinical career has spanned family medicine at the state’s largest healthcare organization, urgent care, cardiac care, women’s health, mental health, and medical aesthetics, providing her with comprehensive knowledge working with patients of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.

Christie received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emmanuel College in Boston, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University. She is a licensed Registered Nurse as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to continuing education and expanding her skill set—most recently completing advanced training in hormone replacement therapy and longevity-focused care, and is undergoing certification from The Menopause Society.

At Age Management Center, Christie specializes in evidence-based wellness programs that support healthy aging. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve their health goals through personalized care, including hormone optimization, weight management, medical aesthetics and proactive wellness strategies that prioritize prevention of illness, health promotion and quality of life.

When she’s not caring for patients, Christie enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and staying active in the beautiful Maine landscape she calls home.
