Therapies for Structural Conditions
Patients often come to our practice with questions about quality of life, including how shoulders, hips and knees, as well as smaller joints like wrists, elbows and fingers are impacting their overall wellbeing.
Reduce the need for surgery with human tissue allografts
Living with structural defects and tissue damage can not only be debilitating to a person’s physical health but can also have a major impact on one’s mental and emotional wellbeing. There are many therapies that provide patients’ temporary relief. Often, there are also surgical procedures for patients to consider, but surgery can be associated with a long, painful recovery time, among other challenges. At Age Management Center, we are excited to be offering the latest technology in regenerative medicine for addressing structural defects, with little to no downtime: Human Tissue Allograft Therapy.
Our tissue allograft therapies are used to combat structural defects and other debilitating situations. This approach uses placental tissue allografts to support enhanced structural integrity of damaged tissue and the surrounding areas.
Through this therapy, we are able to inject tissue allografts directly into the affected area using ultrasound guidance. The injection process takes approximately 10 minutes. Once the injection is complete, the injected therapy stimulates a regenerative process in the body causing the body’s natural healing abilities to suppress the inflammation that is occurring. It is expected patients may experience significant relief within a few weeks.
Frequently Asked Questions
What conditions can benefit from the use of tissue allografts?
Human tissue allograft products have the ability to address many conditions including where there has been damage to tissue that influences structural integrity of the surrounding area.
How much does it cost?
Services are individualized based on a client’s needs and conditions. The cost is determined by the area being addressed as well as the amount and type of human tissue product that is required. A more specific price can be outlined as part of the free screening with your provider.
How often will I need this application?
Longevity of the application will depend on the area and condition being addressed. For joint conditions, a single application can generally be expected. However, conditions vary and additional applications are available when deemed appropriate. Some patients may find that a follow-up application is of value.
How long will it take to see results?
Every condition and every patient are different, and as such, the length of time it takes to see results also varies. Some of our patients have seen results within a few days, but it can take up to nine months to see results.
What can I expect after the application?
Most of our patients experience no downtime whatsoever. However, if a patient’s occupation involves or requires movement that may cause stress to the area being addressed, we will ask you to refrain from this activity for a couple of weeks.
