Reduce the need for surgery with human tissue allografts

Living with chronic pain can not only be debilitating to a person’s physical health but can also have a major impact on one’s mental and emotional wellbeing. There are many treatments that provide patients’ temporary pain relief. Often, there are also surgical procedures for patients to consider, but surgery can be associated with a long, painful recovery time, among other challenges. At Age Management Center, we are excited to be offering the latest technology in regenerative medicine for treating painful joints, with little to no downtime: Human Tissue Allograft Therapy.

Our tissue allograft therapies are used to combat degenerative diseases, injuries, joint pain and more. This treatment uses placental tissue allografts to address pain in major joints such as shoulders, hips and knees, as well as smaller joints like wrists, elbows and fingers.

Through this therapy, we are able to inject tissue allografts directly into the treatment area using ultrasound guidance. The injection process takes approximately 10 minutes. Once the injection is complete, the injected therapy stimulates a regenerative process in the body causing the body’s natural healing abilities to suppress the inflammation that is occurring. Over the course of the next few weeks, it is expected that the patient will experience a significant decrease of pain in the treated area.

Frequently Asked Questions

What orthopedic conditions can benefit from the use of tissue allografts?

Human tissue allograft products have the ability to treat many orthopedic conditions. If a patient is suffering from pain in the knees, back, shoulders, hands, wrist, hip, or other areas, he or she may benefit from the use of human tissue allograft therapy. At Age Management Center, we are also able to use this therapy to help with arthritis and soft tissue injuries.

How much does it cost?

Treatments are individualized based on a client’s needs and conditions. The cost is determined by the area being treated as well as the amount and type of human tissue product that is required. A more specific price can be outlined as part of the free screening with your provider.

How often will I need a treatment?

Longevity of the therapy will depend on the area and condition being treated. For joint conditions, a single treatment can generally be expected. However, conditions vary and additional treatments are available when deemed appropriate. Some patients may find that a follow-up treatment is of value.

How long will it take to see results?

Every condition and every patient are different, and as such, the length of time it takes to see results also varies. Some of our patients have seen results within a few days, but it can take up to nine months to see results.

What can I expect after the treatment?

Most of our patients experience no downtime whatsoever. However, if a patient’s occupation involves or requires movement that may cause stress to the area being treated, we will ask you to refrain from this activity for a couple of weeks.
