Meet Anita Nicholson, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN

Anita Nicholson, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, is one of the region’s leading menopause experts and integrative medicine providers. A highly experienced nurse practitioner, Anita specializes in women’s health, sexual health and healthy aging. Anita provides personalized and holistic care to women of all ages, addressing their physical, emotional and sexual wellness.

Anita has more than two decades of experience in the field of medicine and is a sought after speaker and educator with regard to women’s hormone balancing and optimizing the menopause journey. She is at the forefront of the industry, attending international conferences and events and bringing her unique skillset to help women across New England enhance their quality of life.

She received her Certificate in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona – a prestigious program for medical professionals who are looking to empower and support individuals in optimizing their health and wellness.

Anita holds a Master’s in Science Nursing and a Certificate of Graduate Study in Nursing Education from the University of Southern Maine. She graduated from the Nurse Educator Academy at John Hopkins University. She also received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and completed the Critical Care Nurse Academy at Canada’s Dalhousie University. Anita also served six years as an Army Medic for the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve.

Anita’s wealth of experience and her passion for helping patients understand their health from a holistic, comprehensive perspective has changed the lives of countless patients. Her goal at Age Management Center is to help patients experience the best quality of life for as long as they can.

During her free time Anita likes practicing yoga, meditating, running and spending time with her family.
